Terms of Service

These terms cover what you are buying, what you are not, and what happens if we get it wrong.

Who you are dealing with

Liquor License Prep is a service of Meridian Solutions Group LLC. When these terms say we or us, that is who they mean.

What we do

We are a document preparation service. You answer a written questionnaire. We copy your written answers onto the state's forms, assemble the supporting paperwork into the order a reviewer expects, and send the finished package back to you.

You file it. You sign it. You get it notarized. You collect the sign offs from your zoning office, the Department of Revenue, and the health authority. We tell you who to go to and in what order. We cannot do any of it for you.

What we do not do

Liquor License Prep is a document preparation service, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice.

That is not a formality. It means we cannot tell you which license to apply for, cannot tell you how to answer a question on the form, cannot tell you whether you qualify, cannot read your lease and tell you what it means, and cannot represent you in front of any agency. If you need any of those, you need a Florida licensed attorney.

We also do not correct your answers. We copy what you give us. If something you tell us is wrong, it will be wrong on your package, and the guarantee below does not cover that.

What you pay

One flat fee, paid one time. No subscription. Prices at the time of writing:

  • Beer & Wine: $249. For places that want to sell beer and wine.
  • Full Liquor Restaurant: $349. For restaurants that want to serve beer, wine, and liquor.
  • Quota Lottery Entry: $99. Covers one entry in one county.

Government fees are separate and are not paid to us. You pay those straight to the agency. Our price does not include them and never has.

The 24 hour clock, defined

Your complete package delivered within 24 hours of finished intake.

The clock starts when your intake questions are complete. If we need anything from you, we pause it and tell you exactly what's missing.

To be exact about it, because a promise with a fuzzy start time is not a promise:

  • The clock starts when two things are both true: your questionnaire is complete, and your payment has gone through. Whichever happens second starts it.
  • The clock stops when we send your package to the email address you gave us.
  • The clock pauses if we have to come back to you for something missing. It starts again when you answer. We will tell you exactly what we need.
  • Hours are hours. The clock runs overnight and at weekends.

Our guarantee

  • Full refund if we don't deliver your complete package.
  • If we made a clerical error in preparing your package, meaning a wrong entry of information you gave us, a missing page, or a wrong fee amount, we correct our error free, immediately.

No one can guarantee the state approves a license. Anyone who promises that is lying to you.

The guarantee covers our clerical work: entering the information you gave us, including every page, and getting the fee amount right. It does not cover the accuracy of what you told us, and it does not cover what the state decides.

Refunds

Full detail is on the refund policy page. In short: if we do not deliver your complete package, you get all your money back. If we made a clerical error, we fix it free and immediately.

Once your package has been delivered and it is what you ordered, the work is done and the fee is earned. You are buying preparation, not an outcome.

Your information

What we collect and how long we keep it is set out on the privacy page. The short version: we never ask for a Social Security number or a passport number, and we delete your information 60 days after your order is finished, or 90 days after an unfinished questionnaire goes quiet.

If something goes wrong between us

Email us first. Most problems are a misunderstanding about what we prepared and what you still have to do yourself, and those are quick to sort out.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida.

Changes

If we change these terms, the changed version applies to orders placed after the change. It does not reach back and change the deal on an order you already placed.
