Refund Policy

Two promises, and the honest edges of both.

The guarantee

Full refund if we don't deliver your complete package.
If we made a clerical error in preparing your package, meaning a wrong entry of information you gave us, a missing page, or a wrong fee amount, we correct our error free, immediately.

No one can guarantee the state approves a license. Anyone who promises that is lying to you.

What counts as our clerical error

Three things, and we fix any of them free and immediately:

We entered information you gave us wrongly. You wrote one thing, the form says another.
A page is missing from your package.
The fee amount we told you is wrong for your license and your county.

Tell us in writing and we correct it and resend. There is no time limit on this and there is no charge for it.

What does not count

This is the part worth reading before you order, because it is where people expect something we cannot give.

Wrong information you gave us. We copy your answers. We do not check them against anything and we are not allowed to correct them. If your county is wrong on your questionnaire, it is wrong on your form.
The state saying no. Nobody can guarantee an approval, and anyone who does is lying to you. We prepare the paperwork. The state decides.
Changing your mind after delivery. Once your complete package has been sent and it is what you ordered, the work is done.
A sign off you could not get. Zoning, Revenue and health are yours to collect. We tell you who to go to. We cannot make them say yes.
Government fees. Those go straight to the agency, never to us, so we have nothing to refund.

If we miss the deadline

Your complete package delivered within 24 hours of finished intake.

If we do not deliver your complete package, you get all of your money back. Not a partial credit and not a voucher.

The clock pauses if we have to come back to you for something missing, and it starts again when you answer. The exact definition is in the terms of service.

Before you order

If you are not sure this is the right thing to buy, it is cheaper for both of us to find out now. The License Explorer lays out every license type. The sample packet shows exactly what you get. And if the answer turns out to be that you need a lawyer rather than a document preparer, we would rather tell you that than take your money.

How to ask

Email us with your reference number and what went wrong. Refunds go back to the card that paid, through Stripe, which usually takes a few business days to appear.
